Our own Lauren May, Vice President, recently appeared on the EdChoice Chats podcast for an engaging conversation about the power of parent support in driving student success. Lauren was joined by Colleen Hroncich, a policy analyst at the Cato Institute’s Center for Educational Freedom, and Kimberlee Tucker, owner of the Homeschool Hive, for a thoughtful and energized discussion.

The conversation explored best practices for supporting parents and home education students, highlighting Lauren’s encouragement to families who are considering homeschooling but may feel unsure about taking that first step.  Lauren shared:

“I encourage anyone who’s thinking, ‘Maybe my child could do it, but I don’t know—I’m a little nervous,’ to reach out. Start talking. Start asking questions. It could truly change your life and your student’s future. Every child has the chance to change the world, and when they have the right educational setting, you’re putting them on the right path. It’s amazing.”
